On the economic front, attention will turn to Tuesday’s producer inflation figures and Wednesday’s consumer inflation data, along with key remarks from Federal Reserve officials. Corporate earnings are also in focus, with big banks such as Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, and Bank of America reporting this week. On Friday, the Dow and Nasdaq Composite both declined by 1.63%, while the S&P 500 dropped 1.54%.
