Contact Energy(-0.7%)和F&C Investment(-0.4%)也出现了显著亏损。
The NZX 50 dropped 28 points, or 0.2%, to 13,015 around noon on Thursday, after being flat in the previous session as traders remained cautious after the Fed's meeting minutes indicated a gradual reduction in interest rates throughout 2025. Traders are concerned about global inflation after President-elect Donald Trump considered declaring a national economic emergency to support his proposed tariffs. Caution was also building ahead of the release of consumer and producer prices in New Zealand's top trading partner, China, with the market expecting inflation to ease to 0.1% in December, the least in nine months, highlighting persistent weak domestic demand in the mainland. Meanwhile, producer prices are expected to decline further. Healthcare, energy minerals, utilities, and materials were among the bottom movers, with Rayman Healthcare and Fisher & Paykel falling by 1.5% and 0.7%, respectively. Notable losses were also seen for Contact Energy (-0.7%) and F&C Investment (-0.4%).
