2024年9月,日本房屋开工量同比下降0.6%,远低于上月5.1%的下降幅度,也远低于市场普遍预期的4.1%的下降幅度。自有住房(-0.9%比8月份的-6.6%)、待售住房(-7.0%比-12.0%)、已发行住房(-40.9%比129.7%)和预制住房(-12.5%比-8.6%)的新房继续下降。另一方面,出租房屋的开工率有所上升(4.4%对-1.4%),两栋楼的开工率上升了四栋楼(0.8%对4.3%)。
Japan's housing starts dropped by 0.6% year-on-year in September 2024, much slower than a 5.1% decline in the previous month and way softer than the market consensus of a 4.1% drop. New dwellings continued to fall for owned (-0.9% vs -6.6% in August), built-for-sale (-7.0% vs -12.0%), issued (-40.9% vs 129.7%), and pre-fabricated (-12.5% vs -8.6%). On the other hand, building starts increased for rented (4.4% vs -1.4%) and two-by-four (0.8% vs 4.3%).
